The Mathews County Board of Supervisors held a closed meeting on Monday to hear a report from its consultant The Berkley Group regarding applicants for the position of county administrator.
The board convened, then went into closed session. Interim County Administrator Sandy Wanner said the board selected a number of applicants to interview from a list provided by The Berkley Group.
No action was taken after the closed session, and the board adjourned until this coming Monday’s meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School.
