Supervisors, EDA to hold joint meeting Tuesday

The Gloucester Board of Supervisors will hold a joint meeting with the county’s Economic Development Authority at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Gloucester Library in Main Street Center.

EDA chairman David Meeker will give an overview of the authority’s structure, organization and mission, the agenda said, while EDA treasurer Evan VanLeeuwen will present a financial report.

Sherry Spring, Gloucester’s director of economic development, will present her department’s annual report. Garrey W. Curry Jr., deputy county administrator, will give an update on the Business Development Focus Group.

A closed meeting will be held to discuss potential acquisition and/or disposition of real property and the siting of a prospective business or industry.
