With the Memorial Day weekend come and gone, summer has unofficially arrived. And with summer, come all the fun things to do, like picnics and boat trips. Above, this little squirrel is certainly enjoying his summer, feasting on a buffet set out for him on a tiny picnic table (a Mother’s Day gift) at the home of Jane Blanock in Port Haywood. Blanock enjoys watching the many species of birds and squirrels who visit her feeders. In bottom photo, Glenn and Cindy Rhodes and Mark and Laura Shuford, from left, have some fun out on the water during the holiday weekend.
