Suicide awareness walk to be held in Gloucester Nov. 9

The Prevention, Health and Wellness Division of the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board will hold its fourth Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk—“Walk for a New Day!”—on Saturday, Nov. 9, along Gloucester’s Main Street.

Participants will gather in the parking lot near the U.S. Post Office at Main Street Center for the walk, which starts 10 a.m. A $5 donation per person (accepted the morning of the event) will benefit the Community Services Board’s suicide prevention awareness initiatives.
