Sub restaurant opens at York River Crossing

jb’s Subs & Grub opened for business March 21 at York River Crossing Shopping Center, Hayes.

Owners Jasmine Potter (the “j”) and Brett Kysar (the “b”) both have previous restaurant experience and decided to open their own business closer to home. They reside in lower Gloucester County.

The “Subs” part of their name is readily understood, Potter said, but many customers didn’t know that the “Grub” part of the business includes a diverse menu of calamari, shrimp, chicken wings, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks and fried mushrooms.

Kysar said the most popular sub has been the steak and cheese, filled with steak, Provolone cheese and grilled peppers and onions. Other good sellers have included the Italian sub (ham, pepperoni and salami) and the club (turkey, ham and bacon). Most subs are oven baked, but grilled subs are also offered.
