Typhani Shealy recently joined Roots To Ends Salon, located in Towne and Country Center, White Marsh.

Shealy, a stylist, said she offers all types of cuts, color and waxing.

“I enjoy helping people feel better,” Shealy said of why she likes being a stylist. “I like to use my creativity.”

Well water treatment is one service the staff at Roots To Ends offers that many other local salons do not, Shealy said. That treatment helps condition hair that has been damaged by the iron in well water, she said.

More clients are using color services now, she said, with highlights especially popular. Shealy has seven years’ hair care experience. She previously worked at Super Cuts salon in Gloucester.

She has a state license in cosmetology and is a graduate of Gloucester High School and participated in its cosmetology program.

Her husband Matthew is a maintenance technician at Peninsula Heating and Air at White Marsh. They reside at Adner.
