Newton’s Bus Service in Gloucester will collect unwrapped and unused toys and children’s winter clothing of any size in a pair of Stuff the Bus later next month.

Buses will be at the Walmart Supercenter in Gloucester and Food Lion, Hayes, on Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

All donations will be given to the Salvation Army to help families in the community during Christmas, a release said.

Red kettle sponsors

In other Salvation Army-related news, they are looking for individuals and business owners who would like to sponsor a red kettle for the day and match the funds that are collected at a given site not to exceed $400, according to spokesperson Maria Post.
