Each month during the school year, Mathews High School students are selected for the Student of the Month honor. From among those students, one in each grade level is selected for Student of the Year. Receiving that honor for 2025-2026 are, from top down, eighth grader Sophia Eno, freshman Cole Christensen, sophomore Isabella Hockenberry, junior Addison Griffith and senior Isaac Johnson.
