Storybook Trail

The Earth Day Every Day Storybook Trail at Woodville Park in Ordinary is an opportunity for people to get outdoors with friends or loved ones to read a book together. The story always begins near the Field 1 sign and is a quarter of a mile long. February’s book was chosen to celebrate World Wetlands Day in February and World Water Day in March. The book, “All the Water in the World” by George Ella Lyon and Katherine Tillotson, is about the Earth’s water cycle. March’s displayed book will be “That’s Not a Daffodil!” by Elizabeth Honey. It was chosen to coordinate with the Daffodil Festival and the blooming of daffodils throughout Gloucester. The story changes monthly, so visitors are encouraged to come back frequently.
