Bonnie Perdelwitz of Gloucester, stands beside a 40-foot-tall cedar tree that came down in her yard on Providence Road as a result of heavy winds from Sunday’s storm. The tree snapped off right at its base. Below, the Gloucester Point Beach Fishing Pier was closed Monday due to minor damage from Sunday’s storm. Park staff replaced the missing boards, and the pier reopened Tuesday afternoon.
