Steven Lyle Wylie, age 74, of Port Haywood, Virginia, formerly of Richmond and Henrico, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was a firefighter for the City of Richmond for 10 years, then became a cabinet maker and owner of Creative Cabinets and Tops. He loved playing golf and notched three holes in one. He also loved surf fishing and four-wheeling with the CCFW in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Steve caught many puppy drums, but his best catch was his wife, Myra.

He is survived by his wife, Myranne “Myra”; son, J.D. Wylie; grandchildren, Patton and Charley; sisters, Robin, Debora, and a brother, Scott. He had many nieces and nephews whom he always enjoyed seeing.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia.
