Steven Craig Bickell, 64, of Hayes, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. 

Steven was born in Waseca, Minnesota, on Oct. 19, 1952, to Irving and Eileen Bickell. He graduated in 1971 from Waseca High School and in 1972 went into the Navy serving his country for 20 years. Steven enjoyed woodworking and loved playing golf. He was a friend to everyone and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his companion, Vivian Yvonne Holcomb; children, Carrie Lynn Bickell, Steven Bickell, Teresa Cooper (Brent), Vicki Holcomb, Ken Holcomb (Annette) and Denise Holcomb; brothers, Dennis Bickell (Eva) and Larry Bickell (Carol), and grandchildren, Ashley Holcomb, Kenneth Holcomb, Travis Holcomb, Alyssa Patrick, Brittany Clipper, Shelby Clipper, Cody Martin, Mackenzie Martin and Austin Cooper.

The family received friends Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, from 3-4:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
