Stephen (Steve) L. Burch Jr., age 89, of Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2026. Steve was born on July 14, 1936 in Buena Vista, Va. Steve enjoyed a 30-year career in banking, followed by a 25-year career in real estate. He was a member of Williamsburg Community Chapel in Williamsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Callis Burch, and six children, Debbie Miller, Timothy Burch, Cindy Mackey (Rick) of Dallas, Texas, Karen Perry (Dwight) of Mentor, Ohio, Scott Burch (Rebecca), and Jeffrey Burch of Williamsburg. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Stephen Burch III (Troie) also of Dallas. Steve had 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Williamsburg Community Chapel on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2 p.m., followed by a reception. For those who cannot attend, the service will be livestreamed at: wcchapel.org/Burch. Burial will be private at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made directly to Lackey Clinic at lackeyclinic.org under “Donate/Give Now” in his memory.
