Stephen Bernard Novak Jr., 83, of Smithfield, Virginia, died on April 26, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Olga Novak, and his son, Gregory Novak.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Eva Novak; daughters Olga Oswald and Sonja Novak, and a grandson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
