Stay active this summer with the help of Gloucester PRT

The Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department is sponsoring a number of fitness classes this summer. On Mondays, Vinyasa Yoga is held at Abingdon and on Tuesdays, Namaste Yoga is held at Beaverdam Park. The classes meet from 5:30-6:45, the fee is $6 per class and you can register at the class. On Mondays and Wednesdays Zumba Toning is held at Abingdon from 6-7 p.m. The fee is $3.50 per class and you may register at the class.

SPRING PADDLE: A Spring Paddle will be held tonight at Beaverdam Park, starting at 5 p.m. from the park’s main entrance (8687 Roaring Springs Road). Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent one from the park. Free, but register online at https://rec.gloucesterva.info or at the Beaverdam Ranger Station. For details, call 693-2107.
