State police seek help in finding Mathews hit and run suspect

The Virginia State Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a wanted subject who was allegedly involved in a double hit and run incident that occurred back in June in Mathews.

At approximately 11:15 p.m. on Friday, June 3, Jerry Taylor Fisher, 46, of Warsaw was traveling on Pine Hall Road when he allegedly struck a pedestrian on the roadway with his vehicle and fled the scene, according to a news release from Sgt. Michelle Anaya of the Virginia State Police.

 

Shortly after, it was determined that Fisher fled to Mathews High School, where he had a confrontation with another victim, and allegedly rammed his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle. State Police were able to impound the vehicle but unable to successfully locate Fisher at that time.
