A funeral service for Stapleton Buckner “Bucky” Tabb, 75, of Gloucester, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26 in First Morning Star Baptist Church, Bena. He died Oct. 20, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stapleton Tabb Jr. and Evelyn Buckner Tabb, and a grandson.

Mr. Tabb retired from the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown in 1995 as a civil service employee for the federal government after 29 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Deloris Tabb; two children, Lisa McCarthy and Gerard Tabb, and three grandchildren.

Burial will be in Berea Cemetery, Gloucester.
