A funeral service for Stanley Bernard Scott of Gloucester will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, in New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Woods Cross Roads, Virginia. He departed this life on Sunday, May 20, 2018.

He is survived by his loving son, Stanley Redmon, Middlesex, Virginia; mother, Mary Scott Howard and stepfather, Elijah Howard Sr. of Gloucester; brothers, Harold Scott (Sharon) of Cobbs Creek, Virginia, Wayne Scott (Kathleen) of Gloucester, and Lawrence Scott of Williamsburg, Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018, in Howard Funeral Home, Gloucester. Viewing will begin at noon Saturday in the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
