St. Patrick’s Day luncheon

On March 13, several American Legion Unit 75 and Auxiliary members had lunch with veterans in Gloucester House and handed out St. Patrick’s Day goodies bags. Those attending had a wonderful time talking to the veterans sharing stories and lots of laughs, a release stated. Gloucester House provided the meal, with Program Director Jazmin Perez planning the luncheon. Attending the luncheon were, from left, legion members Phil Clifton, Marvin Van Buskirk and Robert Berry, auxiliary members Jennifer Anlauf and Sheila Korycinski, legionnaire Joe Dugan, auxiliary member Cheryl Slavnik, legionnaire Dr. David Workman, and auxiliary members Cheryl Knapke and Claudia Clifton. Two days earlier, several members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 75 made goodie bag deliveries to the veterans at Sanders, Walter Reed in Gloucester and Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation in Mathews.
