Create a realistic rose from coffee filter paper on Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. Learn how to coax flat paper into a flower in this two-hour class, taught by Ronda Bowden. Leave with a rose or two and the confidence to make more on your own. The cost of the class is $40 and all supplies are provided. Registration is required online or by phone.

The Gloucester Master Gardeners will present a lecture on gardening methods on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. This event is free and open to the public. No registration required.

Also on Saturday, celebrate spring during the Gloucester-Mathews Historic Garden Tour at Brent and Becky’s. Gloucester Master Gardeners will be giving tours of the gardens throughout the day. Artists from Gloucester Arts on Main will be at the garden giving demonstrations. No fee or registration required.

Create a paper peony on May 3 with Ronda Bowden from 10 a.m. until noon. Come prepared to cut many petals and see a realistic peony take shape. All supplies are provided. The cost is $40. Registration is required online or by phone.
