Spreading Christmas joy

The Rev. Stevens Burrell, pastor of Gleaning Baptist Church in Gloucester, and the Rev. Douglas Riley, resident of King William County and pastor of Shepherdsville Baptist Church, also in Gloucester, helped to spread some Christmas joy by donating new bicycles, backpacks, coats, hats, gloves, shoes, turkeys, hams and canned goods to the children and families of King William County. The King William County Public Schools and the King William Social Services Department will distribute the items. This event had been coordinated and planned earlier this month by Superintendent Dr. David White and Darlene Chamberlain, representative of KW Social Services.
