Peasley Middle School seventh grader Jack Gibson (center) was the overall winner of the 2021-2022 schoolwide spelling bee held on Jan. 6 and will represent the school at the upcoming WHRO Public Media Regional Spelling Bee. Grade level winners of the spelling bee included, sixth graders Marcos Puente Rosario, Seth Thompson, Zepeda and Sophie Starnes; seventh graders Gibson, Aden Harpole, Catherine King and Bella Shine; eighth graders Nicholas Walke, Ashley McShane, Jaidyn Abner and John Robenolt.
