Special education screenings offered at Botetourt Elementary

The special education department of Gloucester Public Schools will conduct free screenings for preschool children ages two to five from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Botetourt Elementary School.

Children should be screened if they are experiencing difficulty walking, talking, playing or meeting developmental milestones. The screening, which will be conducted by preschool staff, takes 15 to 30 minutes. Appointments are required; to schedule an appointment call Deborah Lawson at 693-7880.
