The Mathews County Parent Resource Center and the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) invite parents and grandparents of children with disabilities to an informal “Lunch and Learn” session from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, at Richardson’s Café, 12 Church Street, Mathews.

The topic of the “Lunch and Learn” session is “The Four W’s of Transition.” Barbara Ettner, coordinator of the Mathews County Parent Resource Center, and SEAC chair Barbara Fleming will provide materials and answer questions about ways that educators, parents and family members can help their special needs children succeed in navigating key transition periods as students progress from kindergarten to high school graduation.
