SpeakUp Gloucester site allows for resident feedback

The Gloucester County Information Technology department has launched a new online feature, allowing residents to communicate feedback and ideas to county government more easily. “SpeakUp Gloucester” is a way for residents to visit one website to find out about ongoing projects, join topical discussions, create/share/vote on citizen-generated ideas, and connect with others who share similar interests.

Gloucester County Administrator Brenda Garton announced that the site, which can be found at www.speakupgloucesterva.info, was up and running during the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors’ work session April 2.
When visiting the site, which is mobile-device friendly, residents can also take surveys that will help county government shape the future of how the community works.
