Petsworth Elementary School held its annual Sorting Ceremony on Sept. 3 where students get to open a paper bag to find out which of the five houses (York Otters, Ware Rockfish, Piankatank Rays, Severn Crabs and North Ospreys) they will be in for their time at Petsworth. The house system is designed as a positive behavior intervention and support program.
