‘Something About Mary’

Some 300 people attended Sunday’s “Something About Mary” music festival at Willaby’s Beach in White Stone. The sold-out event was held to raise money for M.J. Anderson and her family to mitigate the costs of cancer treatment, according to Susan Johnson, one of the event organizers. “M.J. has always faced her challenges with tenacity, perseverance and a boatload of positive energy,” said William Barnhardt of Willaby’s. “From building five awesome YMCA’s that serve our communities to starting an award-winning brewery to standing tall against cancer, M.J. is an inspiration to everyone she touches,” he said. For information on donating to Anderson and her family, email Marnie Leichty at msdudette@gmail.com.
