A softball skills clinic for girls ages 7-13 will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20 through Wednesday, Aug. 22 on the Mathews County Little League fields at the Piankatank Ruritan Club complex in Hudgins, according to coach J.J. Ashberry.

The clinic, which is free to participate, is open to youngsters in all surrounding counties. Ashberry will teach proper throwing and fielding techniques, base-running, hitting and conditioning.
