Cailynn Monnoyer, 15, daughter of Jeff and Celeste Monnoyer of Gloucester, recently returned from France where she represented the state in the Virginia Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program. Monnoyer, who plays club soccer for Virginia Reign in Williamsburg, traveled with her teammates on April 15-24 to Annecy and Lyon, France, playing four matches. While in France they played four matches, including one where Monnoyer scored a goal. The players also got a chance to tour the region, including a stop at the Groupama Stadium, which is also known as the Parc Olympique Lyonnais Stadium, which is the home of the soccer team Olympique Lyonnais (left).
