Small business marketing topic of Lunch and Learn lecture

Candice Smith, vice president and co-founder of Connected Communities, a local nonprofit promoting personal and professional wellness, will be the guest speaker at Gloucester County Economic Development’s next Lunch and Learn lecture.

The event is set for noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the Bay Transit Center Conference Room off Fiddlers Green Road.

Smith is expected to share a presentation on cost-effective methods that small and home-based businesses can use to market themselves, and ways to make that marketing stand out, according to a release. Smith will also review programs and methods to develop and manage marketing.

Connected Communities arranges workshops that focus on topics such as leadership, care-giving, mental health, wellness and community awareness.
