Sister Cities Yorktown will hold the sixth annual “Soirée en Blanc,” or “Dinner in White,” from 6-9 p.m. next Wednesday, Sept. 28. The event is based on a tradition that began in Paris and is now replicated around the world.

The organization will provide the venue, tables, chairs and white tablecloths. Guests will bring their own dinner, drinks, wine, beer, white plates, flatware, white napkins, glasses and white table decorations. Participants are encouraged to be creative since table decorations will be judged.

The event will be held indoors in Yorktown, but the exact location will remain a secret until two days before the event. Ticket holders will be notified of the location by email.
