Sing for the King Open Mic will take place from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church, 3900 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes.

Joel Emerson of Hayes, organizes and invites performers of Christian music to take part in the events, to be held in the church parking lot. He said that in May, Sing for the King will be held at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh.

Those attending are invited to bring lawn chairs and coolers to “enjoy an afternoon of refreshment for your spirit,” Emerson said.
