Virginia Beach photographer Michael Wade recently posted a story and photos of a trip he made to Signpine in northern Gloucester County in 2020, when he explored the R.P. Gray Store and Signpine Post Office. Long unoccupied, the building was once the center of a vibrant community. Wade also spoke with a neighbor, who had a photo of the store in its heyday.
