A celebration of life service for Shirley Flippo, 80, of Hayes, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at New Life Ministry Center, Hayes. She died April 20, 2016.

She was a member of New Life Ministry Center. She was born in Massachusetts and had lived in Gloucester for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Flippo Jr.

Survivors include her children, Donna Kangas, Scott B. Allen and Glenn D. Allen, and five grandchildren.

The service will be conducted by the Rev. Wendell Gaffney.
