Sherwin-Williams Paints in Gloucester celebrated its fifth anniversary with refreshments and product discounts last weekend.

Store manager Steve Childers of Yorktown, said the Gloucester area has proved to be a good location for the company store, with contractors and homeowners alike coming in to purchase custom-blended paint, other wallcoverings and paint supplies.
Among the big sellers have been the Duration (exterior) and Duration Home (interior) lines of paint, Childers said. A newly added line is HGTV, which offers a new blend of paint colors for do-it-yourselfers, he said.

Childers said he is assisted by two other employees.
