Sherry Lynn Woodring Bryant, 52, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at her home.

She was born in Reading, Pa., and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Gloucester, Va. 

She is survived by her husband, Darryl E. Bryant; daughters, Laura Bryant, Cassandra Bryant, and step-daughter, Amy; sisters; Kelly Giacomini (Jack), Allison Hogge (Jerry), and Tina; grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, and Alexander; step-father, Gene Oswald (JoFran); niece, Staci; nephew, Jerred, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Oswald, and father, Barry Woodring. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give special thanks to Middle Peninsula Cancer Center for the care that they gave Sherry.
