Sheriff to address Gloucester Resource Council

Gloucester Sheriff Darrell Warren will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Gloucester Resource Council, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, in the Gloucester Library community room, Main Street Center.

The council is a network of human service agencies and organizations, businesses, and community members that meet to discuss and share information and resources. Cooperative, interagency efforts are planned and implemented to help maximize community resources and minimize costly duplication of services.

Monthly meetings are open to representatives of non-profit and faith-based organizations as well as any interested citizen. For more information on the council, call Gloucester’s community education department at 693-5730.
