A funeral for Sharon Elizabeth Childs-St. Lawrence, 59, of Ocala, Florida and Gloucester, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8 in Zion Poplars Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died June 24, 2017.

She graduated from Eli Whitney Vocational High School in Brooklyn, New York. She had been employed by Fessenden Elementary School in Ocala and was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church of Ocala.

Survivors include her husband, Cedric St. Lawrence Sr.; three sons, Cedric Jr., Shawn, and Brandon, and three grandchildren.

The service was conducted by the Rev. Vincent Pryor. Burial was in the church cemetery.
