Shannon Lorraine West, 44, of Gloucester, died April 26, 2015.

She was born Jan. 25, 1971 in Florida to Douglas Jones and Ann Dillard Jones. She loved to cook and spend time with family. Her children and grandchildren were such a delight to her. She will be remembered with love.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Wayne West; son, Douglas West; daughter, Heather Castleberry and husband, Mitchell; mother, Ann D. Insley; grandchildren, Makayla, Myles and Makinsley; brother, Jerry Gaddis, and sisters, Mae Rosell and Elizabeth Curtis and husband Dave.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Carol Bookwalter will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Inurnment will be private. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, from noon-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
