Sewer line extension to be discussed Tuesday

The extension of the Terrapin Cove sewer line will be at the top of the agenda during Tuesday night’s Gloucester County Board of Supervisors work session, which begins at 7 o’clock in the colonial courthouse.

Gloucester Point district resident James Peters spoke during citizen comment at the board’s meeting Oct. 1, urging supervisors to ensure the Terrapin Cove sewer extension project is fully completed.

He said as it stands, the project has been cut back so not all homes in the area will be served. "It’s foolish not to spend the money to put it in when the crews are already there working," Peters said.

Peters went on to say the project, as described, doesn’t come close to serving everyone in the neighborhood.

In other matters, the board is also expected to discuss a roadside and outfall drainage ditch study.
