Several school issues to be addressed at joint meeting

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors and the Gloucester School Board will hold a joint meeting Tuesday night to discuss a number of issues, including capital projects, a master plan for Gloucester High School and opening enrollment information. The meeting will begin at 7 o’clock in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium.

Also on the agenda is a discussion on a transportation facility study, including the site selection process for the facility, and an update on storage space needs for the facility.

At the end of the meeting, both boards are expected to enter into a closed meeting to discuss the disposition and/or acquisition of publicly held real property.

Other items that will be discussed Tuesday night are preliminary SOL results, the fund balance included in the local transfer for the fiscal year 2018 operating budget, and an update on the Adopt-a-School program. ...
