Services announced by local churches; more congregations are returning to sanctuaries

Special services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Apostles Lutheran

While physical services at Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, are suspended, the second Sunday after Pentecost worship service will be held via Zoom at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Children’s chapel will be held via Zoom at 3 p.m.; individuals can email office.apostles@gmail.com for an invitation. Invitation to the worship service will be sent to the congregation via email and can also be accessed on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org.

Bellamy United Methodist

Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will offer worship and celebrate Holy Communion at 9 a.m Sunday in the picnic pavilion and 10 o’clock in the sanctuary. There will be a central check-in at the hospitality table for both services. Child care is available at both services in the nursery for children who are not older than two years.
