Services announced by local churches
Special services and other activities in churches this week include the following:
Apostles Lutheran
Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold a New Year’s worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The service can also be joined via Zoom or YouTube.
Bellamy United Methodist
Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will celebrate Epiphany Sunday with one worship service at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Holy Communion will be served.
Bethany United Methodist
Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, will celebrate Epiphany and Holy Communion during its 10 a.m. Sunday service. The sermon title of Pastor Paul Song will be “New Year Has Come! What Do We Begin With?”Council on Ministries will meet at 7 p.m. Monday and the JOY Circle will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
