Services announced by local churches

Special services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Abingdon Episcopal

Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, will hold Holy Eucharist services at 8 a.m. and 10:30 Sunday. Both services will be held in person and the 10:30 service will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.

“Blessing of the Animals” will be held at 4 p.m. In celebration of the feast of St. Francis, bring your pet to this outdoor service.

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold in-person worship on at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The service can also be joined via Zoom; an invitation to the service and the bulletin will be sent to the congregation via email and can also be accessed on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org. A forum will be held after the worship service on “inclusive language.” At noon, “A Blessing of the Animals” will be held.

A new Bible study is being held at 11 a.m. Wednesdays via Zoom.
