Services announced by local churches

Special services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Apostles Lutheran

While physical worship services at Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, are suspended, the fourth Sunday in Lent service will be held via Zoom at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. A Reconciling in Christ discussion will be held after the service. Children’s chapel will be held via Zoom at 3 p.m.; individuals can email office.apostles@gmail.com for an invitation.

A Lenten mid-week Holy Communion service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom. Invitations to the worship service and the mid-week service will be sent to the congregation via email and can also be accessed on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org.

Bellamy United Methodist

Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will offer in-person worship on Sunday and celebrate the fourth Sunday in Lent. Safety protocols will be in place: face masks and a health screening at the door. At this time child care is not available...
