Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, will hold worship services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The Gospel reading reminds us that God’s blessings often look different from what the world values; true joy comes from following Jesus, even when it’s hard, a release said. Antioch Baptist
The Gloucester-Mathews Male Chorus will sing at 3 p.m. Saturday in Antioch Baptist Church, Susan. The day will include a Soul Food Dinner and door prizes.
The Rev. John A. Jones of Hartswell Baptist Church, Ottoman, will preach at the 11 a.m. Sunday in-person service. The service will also be on Facebook Live at weareantioch1869.

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold the sixth Sunday after Epiphany worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday. A special collection for ELCA World Hunger will be received and coffee fellowship and Sunday school for all ages will follow the service. Bellamy United Methodist
Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will gather for worship at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Kathy Angel will preach. There will be no Faith Builders Bible Study on Sunday, but it will resume next Sunday. The adult Sunday school class will meet at 9:30 and the Well contemporary service will gather at 11:30. The Youth Group will meet at 5 p.m. Sunday with dinner provided.
Loaves and Britches food and diaper ministry will be held from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday and the Xtra Years of Zest will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The Christian Education Ministry of Bethel Baptist Church, Gloucester, will host the Rev. Dr. Jonathan Stubbs, associate minister of Bethel, at 11 a.m. Saturday. He will discuss his latest book, “No Clue, White American Affirmative Action Exists and Demands a Moral Revival Now.” He will also have a book signing.
