Services and other activities announced by local churches

Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Abingdon Episcopal

Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, will hold its annual Mass on the Grass service on the grounds of the church at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The service is to be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube. A fellowship picnic will follow the service. Dress in red, white and blue and bring a chair or blanket on which to sit.

The church is open for silent prayer Wednesday noon-1 p.m.

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost service at 10 a.m. Sunday. A coffee fellowship will follow the service. Links to the service via Zoom or YouTube are on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org.
