Services and other activities announced by local churches

Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold the “Name of Jesus” worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday. Pastor Jay Serafin will lead the service. Links to the service via Zoom or YouTube are on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org. The bulletin will be sent to the congregation via email.Apostles will hold the Blue Christmas service (which had to be rescheduled because of illness) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4. The service is for anyone for whom the holidays are difficult to celebrate: grieving the loss of a loved one, experiencing health decline or facing job loss.

Bellamy United Methodist

Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will offer one service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
