Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold the fourth Sunday in Advent service at 10 a.m. Sunday. Jay Serafin will lead the service. Links to the service via Zoom or YouTube are on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org. The bulletin will be sent to the congregation via e-mail. The sanctuary will be decorated for Christmas after the service.

Apostles will hold a Blue Christmas service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21. The service is for anyone for whom the holidays are difficult to celebrate—grieving the loss of a loved one, experiencing health decline or facing job loss.

Beech Grove Baptist

Beech Grove Baptist Church, Hayes, will present its annual Christmas cantata during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.

A Christmas day service will be held at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday school.
