Services and other activities announced by local churches

Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold a “Christ the King” worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday. The service will be led by Dr. Pete Liljeberg and Pastor Jay Serafin will preside at Holy Communion. Links to the service via Zoom or YouTube are on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org. After the service, there will be a congregational meeting to approve a spending plan for 2023 and a coffee fellowship.

Bellamy United Methodist

Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will feature the Praise Band at both the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services. Kid Praise will follow the 10:30 service. The United Women in Faith and the Youth Group will be “Hanging the Greens” to prepare the sanctuary for the Advent/Christmas season following the 10:30 service. All volunteers are welcome to assist this large task.
